Ben is an LA-based filmmaker from Appalachia Ohio.
He wrote & directed SHELTERED, a 5-episode digital series that premiered at the Atlanta Film Festival (2023). The screenplay was recognized with a 2022 Ohio Arts Council Individual Excellence Award and a sound mixing residency at the Wexner Center for the Arts.
Ben production office managed for Julia Reichert and Steven Bognar, the Academy-Award winning documentarians behind AMERICAN FACTORY (Netflix, 2020). Recently, he was the director’s assistant to Nicole Riegel on her sophomore feature DANDELION (IFC, 2024).
